Your needs may be mainly text-based, but I am also capable of producing diagrams and tables to support text, html pages and even videos and animations.

In addition I am used to various localisation and content management/version control packages. I have worked on a variety of projects destined for electronic help files, DVD, websites and more. I am keen to use whatever media is at my disposal to best convey the topics being discussed. In addition these skills might just be put to use elsewhere in your organisation, e.g. sales/marketing material. You might have no direct need of these skills, but having an awareness of visual issues generally makes for smoother/more successful projects.

The graphic software I am used to includes Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects and more), Autodesk 3DS Max and Visio. This website, though simple, was put together by hand in Photoshop and Dreamweaver by myself.
